Stair nosings

Stair nosings are an area where many rules and regulations come in to play. Stair ways in public buildings and commercial premesie require stair nosing inserts to be of differant colours at set point to deffine a change in leaval. So on half landing or change in direction the colour should stand out as a warning. So if the bulk of steps are black edge the start points must be say light gray, this helps to deffine the edge to stairway for those with poor sight.

Many carpet and flooring fitters fail too specify this when ordering their nosings, and will fall foul of these rule should they be inspected. So lets be professional in our approch and check with the customer to their preferances when specifing coloured inserts.
